After a drop in home sales in the early part of 2019, B.C.’s residential real estate market is recovering “much quicker than anticipated,” according to a report released November 25 by Central 1 Credit Union.

The Metro Vancouver housing market is experiencing a fall pickup in home sale activity as the Real Estate Board of Greater Vancouver (REBGV) reports that residential home sales in the region totalled 2,858 in October 2019, a 45% increase from the 1,966 sales recorded in October 2018, and a 22.5% increase from the 2,333 homes sold in September 2019.

Victoria real estate market strong to the end of 2017

A total of 462 properties sold in the Victoria Real Estate Board region this December, 1.9 percent fewer than the 471 properties sold in December last year.
