The Vision
Aldergrove Town Centre is a creekside master-planned community by Janda Group at the intersection of Fraser Highway and 272 Street in the Township of Langley, replacing the long-vacant Aldergrove Mall site. The development consists of six buildings ranging from 6 to 12 storeys, bringing 456 condominiums, roughly 27,550 sq ft of commercial space, and a standalone daycare to Aldergrove's historic downtown core. Each building is named after pioneering local families in partnership with the Aldergrove Historical Society, with names including Shortreed, Jackman, Vanetta, and Hart. Bertrand Creek runs along the north and east edges of the site and is being preserved and enhanced with a riparian trail as part of the development. Janda Group, founded by the Janda family in the early 1980s, describes the project as a goal to create a community gathering place where people can live, work, eat, and play, while preserving Aldergrove's small-town character.
