These terms govern your use of bcnewhomes.ca. By using the site you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

What this site is

BC New Homes publishes information about presale, under-construction and newly completed residential developments in British Columbia. We are an information service. We are not the developer of any project listed here, and we do not build, own or sell the homes we write about.

Nothing here is an offer for sale

Under British Columbia’s Real Estate Development Marketing Act (REDMA), a developer may only offer a development unit for sale after filing a disclosure statement. Nothing on this site is an offer to sell or a solicitation of an offer to buy. Any such offering may only be made by the developer after a disclosure statement has been filed.

This site is not intended to solicit properties already listed for sale or buyers already under contract with another brokerage.

Accuracy and the limits of what we publish

We work to keep listings accurate and we review them regularly. Even so, pricing, availability, floor plans, unit mix, deposit structures and completion dates are set by developers and change without notice to us.

The developer’s own disclosure statement and purchase agreement govern in all cases. Where anything on this site differs from those documents, those documents are correct and this site is not. Do not rely on information here as the basis for a purchase decision without confirming it directly with the developer and taking independent professional advice.

Information is provided on an “as is” basis. Errors and omissions excepted.

Not professional advice

Our guides, tools and calculators are general information only. They are not legal, financial, mortgage, tax or investment advice, and using them does not create a professional relationship. Buying a home is specific to your circumstances. Speak to a lawyer, mortgage professional or accountant before making decisions.

Calculator outputs are estimates based on the figures you enter and general assumptions. They are not quotes and not approvals.

Registration and enquiries

When you register or contact us, you agree that the information you provide is accurate and that you are entitled to provide it. We handle it in accordance with our Privacy Policy. Registering does not create any obligation to purchase, and does not guarantee availability, pricing or access to any project.

Intellectual property

The design, written content, guides and compiled data on this site belong to BC New Homes. You may read, link to and share our pages. You may not reproduce, scrape or republish substantial portions of our content or data for commercial purposes without written permission.

Developer names, logos and project names are the trade marks of their respective owners. We display them to identify the companies and developments we write about. Their use here does not imply any endorsement, affiliation or partnership. If you own a mark shown here and would like it changed or removed, contact us and we will address it.

Third-party links

We link to developer websites and other third-party resources. We do not control them and are not responsible for their content, accuracy or privacy practices.

Availability

We aim to keep the site available and current, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access, and we may change, suspend or remove any part of it at any time.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, BC New Homes is not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of, or reliance on, this site or any information on it, including indirect or consequential loss.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of British Columbia and the applicable laws of Canada. Any dispute will be subject to the courts of British Columbia.

Changes

We may update these terms. The date at the top of this page shows when they last changed, and continuing to use the site means you accept the current version.
